FIDO UX Guidelines
The FIDO UX guidelines are a set of best practices to help service providers encourage their customers to log in with FIDO authentication on desktop environments. These guidelines aim to accelerate decision-making during FIDO implementation and specify what information and controls should be given to users through their journey from FIDO awareness to registration and subsequent logins.
Developed with Industry Collaboration
The FIDO UX Guidelines are a deliverable from the FIDO Alliance UX Task Force, including member companies Bank of America, eBay, Facebook, Google, HYPR, IBM, Intuit, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Microsoft, Trusona, Visa, and Wells Fargo. The FIDO UX Task Force partnered with Blink UX to conduct formal usability research of FIDO user journeys to establish FIDO UX best practices and make authentication without passwords more usable for all.
