Jump-start your deployment of passkeys for consumers with research-backed UX guidance.
When it comes to providing passkeys to consumers, technical implementation is only one piece of the puzzle. Research led by the FIDO Alliance’s UX Working Group found that if the user experience isn’t sufficient, consumers will be slow to adopt passkeys as a password replacement. Phishing-resistant authentication is increasingly being viewed as an essential part of an organization’s security roadmap. With passkeys the benefits go beyond security. When properly integrated into the customer journey, passkeys can dramatically increase sign-in success and decrease time to sign in. This in turn can drive top-line growth and engender stronger brand affinity.
UX best practices for passkeys are new to online service providers. The FIDO Alliance’s new UX Guidelines for Passkey Creation and Sign-ins aim to accelerate planning for passkeys integration and execution to achieve a better, more consistent user experience when signing in. Join this three-part webinar series to learn the findings and best practices developed through intensive UX research, and get actionable tools to accelerate and optimize your deployment of passkeys for consumer sign-ins.
Speakers across the three webinars include designers, UX, UX content, and accessibility experts, and service providers who contributed to the development of these guidelines within the UX Working Group.
Registration includes all four webinars and access to post-webinar recordings.
In order to accelerate adoption of FIDO solutions and achieve the FIDO Alliance’s vision of helping reduce the world’s over reliance on passwords, the UX Working Group (UXWG) serves as subject matter experts and internal advisors within the FIDO Alliance on issues related to usability and UX. The FIDO Alliance UXWG is composed of 79 product, design, accessibility, marketing and technical leaders from 31 diverse companies. Relying parties that contributed to the development of these guidelines include Apple Inc., CVS Health, Google, Intuit, JP Morgan Chase Bank, NA, Mercari, Inc., Meta, PayPal, Target Corporation, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo.
