Sony has introduced passkey support for PlayStation, eliminating the need for traditional passwords. Users can now opt for a more secure and convenient sign-in method by setting up a passkey stored on their phone or laptop. Passkeys use unique cryptographic keys that remain on the device which are phishing resistant, and can be accessed through other devices in case of loss.
