You’re invited to join the FIDO Alliance in Brussels on 27 March for a half-day seminar, “The Future of Identity & Authentication in Europe,” focusing on the current and future regulatory landscape.

This seminar will bring together experts from government and industry to discuss the latest developments in identity and authentication in Europe, including:

• Current landscape for identity and authentication in Europe, including state of cybersecurity, phishing and AI-driven attacks 
• State of adoption and policy updates on phishing-resistant authentication with FIDO and passkeys 
• Impacts of current and future policy and regulation including: Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) and the upcoming Payment Services Directive 3 (PSD3); European Digital Identity (EUDI) Regulation; Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive, the European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) 
• Advancements in digital identity initiatives including wallets and remote identity verification technologies
