Pre-Testing | November 30 – December 4, 2026
FIDO Certification will provide the metadata, Server links, and participant information needed for testing.
- Server participants: Load all participant metadata and monitor for updates during pre-testing. Metadata is often revised during pre-testing, so please monitor correspondence for such announcements.
- Authenticator participants: Test against the participating Servers in 3 browsers (typically a mix between Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox). Once testing is successfully completed, schedule your proctored session.
Please copy FIDO Certification on participant correspondence during pre-testing.
Proctored Testing | December 7 – 11, 2026
Testing will take place via Google Meet. Scheduling instructions will be provided prior to testing.
Authenticator participants should be prepared to:
- Test each transport for each participating product.
- Share their screen throughout testing.
- Have the camera positioned so the authenticator and required user interactions can be observed during testing.
Server participants do not require a proctored session but must remain available throughout the testing period.
Questions and required files should be directed to certification@fidoalliance.org.
