Authenticate is the industry’s only conference dedicated to user authentication – with a focus on phishing-resistant authentication with passkeys. Call for Speakers Now Open

FIDO Alliance is inviting proposals for speaking engagements for Authenticate 2025. This year’s conference will be held at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from October 13-15, 2025. This setting not only provides a beautiful backdrop for discussions but also fosters networking opportunities among experts, practitioners, and innovators.

The focus of the program for the Authenticate 2025 conference is “achieving usable security across the account lifecycle,” with a focus on deeper dives on how to achieve phishing-resistant authentication with passkeys and the adjacent areas necessary to achieve end-to-end account security with usability in mind.

If you’re considering submitting a speaking proposal, now is the time to prepare your ideas, focusing on topics relevant to FIDO authentication, user experience in authentication, implementations of passkeys, or any other innovative trends in user authentication.

Authenticate 2025 will be held October 13-15, 2025 and will be co-located with the FIDO Alliance’s member plenary (running October 13-16) at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, CA, just north of San Diego. Last year’s conference welcomed over 850 total attendees in Carlsbad and remotely. Last year’s event featured more than 120 sessions with highly engaging content, plus a sold-out exhibit area with 60+ industry-leading exhibitors and sponsors.

Authenticate 2025 will build upon this momentum and feature detailed case studies, technical tutorials, expert panels, and hands-on lab sessions aimed at helping educate attendees on business drivers, technical considerations, and overall best practices for deploying modern authentication systems. Attendees also benefit from a dynamic expo hall and engaging networking opportunities that tap into the natural beauty of Carlsbad and the La Costa Resort.
