Senator Wyden is urging the Senate sergeant at arms to mandate that lawmakers and Hill staff use an industry-standard security practice to access sensitive Senate networks, per a Friday letter shared first with MC. “Thousands of Senate employees who currently use less-secure forms of MFA must be re-issued new, phishing-resistant FIDO tokens and the Senate must stop supporting methods of MFA that are vulnerable to phishing,” reads the letter.
