Fortune: What Mark Zuckerberg’s Password Hack Says About Cybersecurity

FIDO Alliance executive director Brett McDowell writes about the ongoing password crisis, telling readers that to really solve the crisis, online service providers need to do two things now: improve the user experience of strong authentication by making it easier to use, and design the technology so authentication “secrets” are never shared or stored on servers.
