SUMMARY:Member Webinar: Passwordless in Practice: Comparing Enterprise Deployment Architectures
DESCRIPTION:Wed\, Feb 11\, 2026 · 3:00–4:00 PM CET \n\n\n\nPasskeys are mature. Enterprise environments are not. \n\n\n\nIf you’re responsible for authentication strategy in a large organization\, the real challenge isn’t whether to go passwordless – it’s how to deploy it without breaking legacy systems\, over-engineering IAM\, or creating operational debt. \n\n\n\nIn this technical webinar\, Bartosz Cieszewski compares the most common enterprise passwordless deployment architectures and explains where each one works – and where it doesn’t. \n\n\n\nYou’ll learn: \n\n\n\n\nHow enterprises actually deploy passkeys across mixed legacy and modern environments\n\n\n\nThe architectural differences between native\, identity-layer\, and access-layer approaches\n\n\n\nSecurity\, scalability\, and maintenance trade-offs you should consider upfront\n\n\n\nHow to choose an approach that fits your current architecture\, not a theoretical model\n\n\n\n\nThis session is designed for IAM architects\, security engineers\, and decision-makers who need clarity before committing to a deployment path.

SUMMARY:Webinar: The Spectrum of Authentication: How BankID Norway Unifies Passkeys & Biometric Liveness
DESCRIPTION:Organizations are grappling with an increasingly diverse and sophisticated threat landscape\, including AI-powered phishing campaigns\, physical presentation attacks\, and scalable\, automated injection attacks. Join experts from BankID\, iProov and FIDO Alliance to explore how organizations can combat these growing threats by unifying passkeys with advanced liveness. \n\n\n\nLearn how BankID Norway\, the de facto national digital ID used by 97% citizens (4.7 million)\, is evolving its mature ecosystem to meet modern challenges. While BankID’s success was built on a foundation of industry-wide collaboration and high public trust\, its move to an app powered by passkeys and liveness represents a major shift in economic efficiency and customer experience. This session explores how this transition simplifies the user lifecycle and provides a seamless experience that scales from everyday logins to high-assurance signatures. \n\n\n\nSpeakers: Ove Morten\, BankID and Joe Palmer\, iProov \n\n\n\nModerator: Megan Shamas\, CMO\, FIDO Alliance

SUMMARY:Member Sponsored Webinar: The Identity Lifecycle with Passkeys: From Onboarding to Recovery
DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\n\n\nPasskeys have moved from “pilot” to “platform decision\,” but most deployment risk is in the lifecycle: how you enroll users\, handle multi-device reality\, support device loss and replacements\, and design recovery flows that don’t quietly reintroduce the very weaknesses passkeys were meant to eliminate. \n\n\n\nIn this fireside chat\, speakers will share a field-tested framework for engineering the passkey lifecycle end-to-end across workforce and customer use cases. We’ll cover design patterns for enrollment and step-up\, approaches to device churn and credential management\, and the recovery “trap door” that attackers often exploit. Attendees will leave with practical guidance for deploying passkeys in real enterprises while maintaining strong assurance\, clean UX\, and operational efficiency. \n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n\nEoghan Mulligan\, Director of Product\, DaonMegan Shamas\, CMO\, FIDO Alliance \n\n\n\nSponsored by: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistrants can watch the presentation on demand.\n\n\n\n\nWatch On Demand

SUMMARY:FIDO Sponsored Webinar: From Password Risk to Digital Trust: The Case for Passkeys in Financial Services
DESCRIPTION:As Banking\, Financial Services\, and Insurance (BFSI) institutions face escalating identity‑based threats\, growing regulatory pressure\, and rising customer expectations\, authentication has become a board‑level concern. Passwords and legacy MFA approaches are no longer sufficient to protect digital identities.  \n\n\n\nThis webinar examines how FIDO‑based authentication including passkeys are enabling banks\, insurers\, and financial institutions to reduce fraud\, improve customer experience\, and strengthen cyber resilience across their entire identity landscape.   \n\n\n\nDrawing on insights from the Thales BFSI IAM Trends Report and Thales Data Threat Report\, the session highlights key trends shaping authentication strategies in the BFSI sector.  \n\n\n\nAttendees will hear how leading banks are adopting passkeys for digital banking customers and internal workforces\, the business outcomes they are achieving\, and the critical considerations for scaling passwordless authentication across employees\, partners\, and consumers.  \n\n\n\nThe discussion will provide senior leaders with a clear perspective on why FIDO and passkeys are becoming a foundational element of modern banking security strategies. \n\n\n\nSpeakers \n\n\n\nMegan Shamas\, CMO\, FIDO AllianceAmmar Faheem\, Director of Product Marketing CIAM\, Thales \n\n\n\nSponsored by \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistrants can watch the presentation on demand.\n\n\n\n\nWatch On Demand

SUMMARY:FIDO Member Webinar: Device-bound or Synced? Security Trade-offs in Passkeys
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Secfense \n\n\n\nNot all passkeys are created equal. \n\n\n\nWhile passkeys are widely promoted as phishing-resistant by design\, their security properties depend heavily on how they are implemented and stored. The choice between device-bound and synced passkeys has direct implications for account takeover resistance\, recovery models\, ecosystem dependency\, and regulatory alignment. \n\n\n\nIn this session\, we take a deep technical look at the different passkey models used in enterprise environments and analyze their real-world security trade-offs. \n\n\n\nWhat this webinar covers: \n\n\n\n\nThe architectural differences between device-bound and synced passkeys \n\n\n\nHow each model impacts phishing resistance\, account recovery\, and device loss scenarios \n\n\n\nEcosystem risks and platform dependencies (cloud synchronization vs hardware-bound credentials) \n\n\n\nAttack scenarios and practical threat considerations \n\n\n\nOperational challenges in regulated and high-assurance environments \n\n\n\nThe hybrid approach: mobile-bound passkeys as a practical balance between security and usability \n\n\n\n\nRather than treating passkeys as a single concept\, this session breaks down the security assumptions behind each model and explains where those assumptions hold — and where they don’t. \n\n\n\nThis is a technical discussion focused on architecture\, risk modeling\, and informed decision-making — not a product demonstration. \n\n\n\nWho should attend: \n\n\n\n\nIAM and security architects \n\n\n\nEnterprise identity engineers \n\n\n\nCISOs evaluating authentication strategy \n\n\n\nRisk and compliance leaders in regulated sectors \n\n\n\nTeams designing high-assurance passwordless deployments

Successful results from the test tool will be required to participate in the Interoperability event. You will be granted access to the official self-conformance test tool right after you complete your online test tool registration. Please use the latest version (v1.8.0) of the test tools. \n\n\n\nIf not already completed by your company\, complete a FIDO Certification Non-disclosure Agreement.
