SUMMARY:FIDO Alliance User Authentication Interoperability Testing Event
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the FIDO Alliance User Authentication Interoperability Testing Event. Please review the important dates and participation requirements below. \n\n\n\nRegistration | August 14 – September 4 \n\n\n\nComplete the Event Registration Form and provide the applicable information and documentation as part of your registration: \n\n\n\n\nConformance Test Results: Complete all applicable tests using the latest version of the test tools and submit successful results to FIDO Certification. Test tool access is available here.\n\n\n\nFIDO Certification NDA: Required for all participants. Please note that modifications to the Agreement cannot be accepted.\n\n\n\nAuthenticator participants: Submit metadata statements through the Event Registration Form. FIDO Certification will coordinate distribution to Servers.\n\n\n\nServer participants: Submit your Server link through the Event Registration Form and follow the instructions here to set up the required interoperability test application.\n\n\n\n\nPre-Testing | September 9–13\, 2026 \n\n\n\nFIDO Certification will provide the metadata\, Server links\, and participant information needed for testing. \n\n\n\n\nServer participants: Load all participant metadata and monitor for updates during pre-testing. Metadata is often revised during pre-testing\, so please monitor correspondence for such announcements.\n\n\n\nAuthenticator participants: Test against the participating Servers in 3 browsers (typically a mix between Chrome\, Safari\, Edge and Firefox). Once testing is successfully completed\, schedule your proctored session.\n\n\n\n\nPlease copy FIDO Certification on participant correspondence during pre-testing. \n\n\n\nProctored Testing | September 14–18\, 2026 \n\n\n\nTesting will take place via Google Meet. Scheduling instructions will be provided prior to testing. \n\n\n\nAuthenticator participants should be prepared to: \n\n\n\n\nTest each applicable transport for each participating product.\n\n\n\nShare their screen throughout testing.\n\n\n\nHave the camera positioned so the authenticator and required user interactions can be observed during testing.\n\n\n\n\nServer participants do not require a proctored session but must remain available throughout the testing period. \n\n\n\nQuestions and required files should be directed to certification@fidoalliance.org.
