FIDO Alliance Seminar — Washington, D.C.

The FIDO Alliance will conduct a Seminar for prospective members, and for companies interested in deploying the FIDO Standards. Both the business and technical aspects of the FIDO Alliance will be addressed. Presentations and discussions will include the UAF and U2F Specifications, FIDO’s Compliance Program, case studies of FIDO 1.0 deployment. Member companies will demonstrate FIDO Certified products.
This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone in the D.C. area who is interested in cybersecurity to catch up on what the FIDO Alliance is doing to improve the authentication process by reducing our dependence on passwords. Topics to be covered include:
FIDO Alliance status and plans
Case studies of FIDO deployments from Yubico for U2F and from NTT DOCOMO for UAF
A discussion of FIDO’s approach to privacy
A panel discussion on why FIDO is important to eGov, financial services, and healthcare.
For the technical community there will be in depth coverage of the FIDO UAF and U2F Standards as well as in-depth discussion for engineers on how to deploy them.
Attendance at the seminar is complimentary and lunch will be provided; registration, however, is required.
