For many years, Microsoft has been offering the option of reliably protecting access from takeovers using multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Fast Identity Online (FIDO). In addition to MFA and FIDO2, Microsoft has recently also offered authentication using certificates in Azure AD, which opens up new possibilities for using cloud services.
