BetaNews: Four-year-old LinkedIn IDs go up for sale online

In the light of newly-exposed credentials from the 2012 LinkedIn breach, Executive Director Brett McDowell tells BetaNews that rather than password breach remediation practices, the industry needs a better authentication system using private key cryptography to protect sensitive information online.
